PILSEN — A 47-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Pilsen early Saturday afternoon, police said.

Around 1 p.m., the man was standing outside in the 1900 block of South Allport Street when someone shot at him from a gold-colored SUV, according to Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in good condition after being shot in his left ankle, Zala said.

Police said the man is a documented gang-member, and the shooting appears to have been gang-related.

No one is in custody, police said.
