CHICAGO — Shootings left one person dead and 11 wounded on Thursday, police said.

At 5:30 p.m., 52-year-old Paul Webster was shot to death while sitting in a car in Ashburn.

In non-fatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 11:40 p.m., a 31-year-old man was standing outside in Englewood when someone in a black sedan shot him.

• At 11:30 p.m., a man was shot and wounded in Auburn Gresham.

• At 10:10 p.m., a 25-year-old man was driving in Brighton Park when he was shot.

• At 8:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Gage Park, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man was walking in the 5100 block of South Rockwell Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his right leg, Amezaga said. The man was a documented gang member, police said. No further information was available.

• At 8:28 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in Bronzeville, Amezaga said. The man was standing on a corner in the 700 block of East 43rd Street when a light-colored SUV drove up and the occupants fired shots.

The man was hit in his right abdomen, right leg and left foot. He was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition, Amezaga said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 7:45 p.m., a 36-year-old man was shot in Fuller Park, Amezaga said. The man was in the 5300 block of South Princeton Avenue when he was shot in his face.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in grave condition, Amezaga said. He was later pronounced dead.

The man was identified as Angelo Davis, of the 6300 block of South Elizabeth, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Davis was pronounced dead at 1:09 p.m. June 16. An autopsy showed he died of complications of a gunshot wound in his head.

Witnesses were uncooperative, police said.

• At 6:27 p.m., a 26-year-old man and 17-year-old were shot while outside in Brighton Park.

• At 5:50 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in a drive-by in West Woodlawn.

• At 4 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in West Englewood.

• At 3:57 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Washington Park, Amezaga said. The man was in the 6100 block of South Indiana Avenue when he was shot in his face.

The man was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition, Amezaga said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

No further information was available.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
