CHICAGO — A shooting in West Woodlawn left a 16-year-old boy wounded on Thursday, police said.
At 5:50 p.m., the boy was on the sidewalk in the 400 block of East 63rd Street when someone in a red car fired shots at him, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The boy was hit in his left arm and right calf. He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.
No one was in custody in the shooting.
