Auburn Gresham Shooting Wounds Man, Police Say

CHICAGO — An Auburn Gresham shooting left a man wounded on Thursday night, police said.

At 11:30 p.m., the man, whose age was unknown, was in the 8300 block of South Carpenter Street when he was shot, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was hit in his leg. He was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital, Amezaga said. His condition was not immediately available.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
