CHICAGO — One person was killed and 12 wounded in shootings between Wednesday and Thursday, police said.

A 26-year-old man was found shot to death in a West Englewood apartment early Thursday, police said.

Nonfatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 2:50 a.m. Thursday, two men were shot in Roseland, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The two men were standing outside in the 10200 block of South State Street when they heard shots and felt pain.

The men, 20 and 25 years old, were shot in their legs and were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where they were in fair condition, Amezaga said.

• Also at 2:50 a.m., a 25-year-old man was shot at a party in Fuller Park, Amezaga said.

• At 12:40 a.m., a 35-year-old man was shot in South Shore, Amezaga said. The man was sitting in a parked car in the 7100 block of South Clyde Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was shot in his right thigh and shoulder. He took himself to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

• At 8:52 p.m. Wednesday, a 41-year-old man was shot in Canaryville, Amezaga said. The man was standing in a gangway with a woman in the 700 block of West 48th Street when a man walked up and fired shots at them.

The victim was hit in his stomach and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said. No other injuries were reported.

• At 6:35 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Auburn Gresham, Amezaga said. The teen was sitting in front of a home in the 7600 block of South Sangamon when someone walked up, fired shots at him and ran away.

The teen was hit in his groin and stomach and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

• At 4:45 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, Amezaga said. The man collapsed on a stranger's porch after being shot in the 200 block of South Pulaski Road.

The man was hit multiple times throughout his body and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Amezaga said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 4:22 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot at Jackie Robinson Park in Washington Heights, police said.

• At 1:44 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot and wounded in West Englewood, police said.

• At 1:10 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in his right thigh in Woodlawn, police said.

• At 11:20 a.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Roseland, Amezaga said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 10000 block of South Wentworth Avenue when a man in a gold-colored sedan drove near him, got out of his car, fired shots at the victim and then drove off.

The victim was hit in his right ankle and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was in good condition, Amezaga said.

The victim was a documented gang member with an active warrant for unlawful use of a weapon, police said.

• At 10:20 p.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in Austin, Amezaga said. The man was in the 1200 block of North Lockwood Avenue when he was shot in his leg and buttocks.

The man was taken to West Suburban Hospital, but his condition was unknown, Amezaga said.

The man was a documented gang member and convicted felon, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
