CHICAGO — One person has died and 11 others were wounded in shootings throughout the city since Sunday morning, according to police.

A 20-year-old man was was shot and killed in Greater Grand Crossing Sunday after a passing SUV opened fire on him, police said. He was the day's lone fatality.

• Most recently, a 35-year-old man was shot while sitting on a porch at 2:35 a.m. in South Shore, police said.

• A 50-year-old woman was shot in Rogers Park at 2 a.m. Monday, police said.

• At 1:30 a.m., a 30-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were shot in Heart of Italy, police said.

• A 24-year-old woman was shot in West Englewood Sunday night, police said.

• A 36-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale Sunday night, said Officer Bari Lemmon, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was on the sidewalk in the 1600 block of South Komensky Avenue at 9:55 p.m. when a man walked up and opened fire, Lemmon said. He was struck in the right knee and managed to get himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not released but police said he was "stable."

• At 9:50 p.m., an 18-year-old man was wounded in a Chicago Lawn shooting, police said.

• A 17-year-old was shot in Austin Sunday night, Lemmon said.

The teen was at a park in the 5700 block of West Bloomingdale Avenue at 9:25 p.m. when shots rang out, she said. He was struck in his right arm and was taken to West Suburban Hospital, where his condition was not released but police said the teen was "stable."

• A 17-year-old was shot in Chicago Lawn Sunday morning, police said.

• At 10 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in East Garfield Park, Lemmon said.

The man was in the 3600 block of West Lexington Street when shots rang out, she said. He was shot in his shoulder and got himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Lemmon said.

• Sunday's first shooting came at 6:30 a.m., when a 23-year-old man was shot in West Town, police said.
