CHICAGO — Two people have been killed and five wounded in shootings since Friday, police said.

A shooting in Washington Park killed a 47-year-old man on Friday.

In University Village, a shooting left a 21-year-old man dead and another man wounded late Friday.

Non-fatal shootings:

• At 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, a 16-year-old boy was shot in Heart of Chicago, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

• At 8:40 p.m., a 53-year-old woman was shot while sitting on a porch in Englewood, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

• At 6:55 p.m., a 29-year-old man was shot while getting out of a car in Pilsen, Estrada said.

• At 6:18 p.m., a 27-year-old woman was shot while in a car in West Englewood, Estrada said.

• At 4 p.m., a 26-year-old man walked into University of Chicago Hospital after being shot in Grand Crossing, Estrada said. The man was a passenger in a car in the 7600 block of South Ellis Avenue when he heard shots, felt pain and realized he'd been shot.

The man was shot in his leg and was in good condition, Estrada said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said, and the shooting might be gang-related.

No one was in custody in these shootings unless otherwise noted.
