UPTOWN AND ANDERSONVILLE — Businesses, organizations and politicians in Uptown and Andersonville are offering an impressive line-up of deals and events to bring the neighborhood out for some fun this weekend.

Here's a list of seven things happening in the neighborhoods this weekend:

Second Friday on Argyle: Ald. Harry Osterman (48th) introduces Second Friday on Argyle in hopes of drawing the neighborhood to the businesses in the area as construction continues on the streetscape. The inaugural Second Friday features Miss Saigon, which took over the former King of Thai Noodles and Rice in March. For more details click here. 6-9 p.m. Friday. 1129 W. Argyle St.

DJ Snake's Pardon My French Tour Lands in Uptown: DJ Snake, Tchami, Mercer and Malaa will stop at the Aragon Ballroom Friday as part of the Pardon My French Tour. Tickets for the 18-and-over show are $45. Doors open at 8 p.m. 1106 W. Lawrence Ave.

The Floozies at the Riviera Theatre: The Floozies, Goldfish and Cofresi will be in Uptown Friday courtesy of Silver Wrapper. Tickets to the 18-and over show are $24 and available here. 8:30 p.m. Friday. 4746 N. Racine Ave.

ANDERSONVILLE FLASH SALE: The owners of Room Service and Murray & White rounded up more than 30 local businesses for a sale featuring unique, one day only deals. Participating businesses include: Foursided, AlleyCat Comics, AKIRA, Jameson Loves Danger, Milk Handmade, Notice and Pastoral. JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound: The band has rocked stages at Lollapalooza with their eclectic, soulful sound bred in Uptown, but Saturday they'll perform for free at the Preston Bradley Center as a kickoff to the second season of Uptown Saturday Nights. Neighborhood Walking Tours: Courtesy of Uptown United and Uptown Saturday Nights, enjoy walking tours of the Uptown Entertainment District led by knowledgeable local docents from Choose Chicago's Greeter Program. The one hour tours leave from Crew Bar and Grill, 4804 N. Broadway, at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Try Out the New Spots: Both Uptown and Andersonville have seen new businesses open in the last month. Uptown Arcade, 4820 N. Broadway, opened at the end of March and features more than 30 free arcade games, craft whiskey and beers. Last Friday, Skywalker Shoes opened in the in the former Mr. and Mrs. Digz space at 5668 N. Clark St. It offers your favorite sneakers in colors guaranteed to garner attention. Last weekend, Uptown's newest Ethiopian restaurant, Tesfa, opened at 1023 W. Wilson Ave. Dine-in space is limited, but menu information is available here.
