ANDERSONVILLE — Sneaker enthusiasts looking for the hottest kicks to stand out this summer have a new option in Andersonville.
Skywalker Shoes will open in the former Mr. and Mrs. Digz space at 5668 N. Clark St. Friday, said owner Jae Lim.
“What’s different about us is that we offer dozens of exclusive styles and limited-edition shoes that aren’t easily available everywhere,” said Lim.
He chose the location hoping to attract some of the heavy foot traffic on Clark Street in "arguably one of Chicago’s hottest neighborhoods."
While shoppers will find familiar sneaker brands like Nike, adidas, Puma and Reebok, the shoes will feature "colors and designs that will make you stand out in a crowd."
The shop will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
