CHICAGO — It looks like a new restaurant will be moving into Milwaukee Avenue.

The owner of the building at 1308 N. Milwaukee Avenue has recently taken out a renovation/alteration building permit with the purposes of opening a new restaurant, according to the city's building permit database.

No details about the new business were included in the permit application, and the owner could not be immediately reached for comment.

Building owner Saxony Capital LLC took out the permit on March 3. Renovations to the building are estimated to cost $25,000 and will not include structural work to the building, according to the permit.

Saxony bought the 1308-1310 N. Milwaukee building in 2014 for $2.4 million, according to Crain's Chicago Business.

The restaurant Big and Little's opened in the 1310 N. Milwaukee address in September.
