CHICAGO — One man has been killed and 15 people, including a 3-year-old boy, have been wounded in shootings since Saturday.

A 23-year-old man was shot and killed at a party where a fight broke out in Chatham, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman. Another man was wounded in the shooting.

In non-fatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, two men were shot in Dunning, Estrada said. The men were in the 3000 block of North Harlem Avenue when they were shot.

A 27-year-old man was shot multiple times throughout his body and was taken to Community First Medical Center in critical condition, Estrada said. A 34-year-old man was shot in his leg and was taken to Loyola University Medical Center. His condition was unknown.

• At 4:07 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Grand Boulevard, Estrada said. The man was in the 5100 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when he was approached by two men, one of whom had a gun. They questioned the victim about his gang affiliation.

The victim tried to push away the man's gun and he was shot in his left hand. The victim, the shooter and the third man all ran away. The victim was taken to Provident Hospital, where he was in good condition.

• At 10:05 p.m. Saturday, a 33-year-old man was shot in Chatham, Estrada said. The man was standing outside in the 8100 block of South Harvard when a car drove by. Someone inside the car opened fire, hitting the man in his groin.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, Estrada said.

• At 9:20 p.m., a 20-year-old man while exiting Lake Shore Drive at North Avenue.

• At 8:30 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in West Englewood, Estrada said. The man was walking down the street in the 5600 block of South Seeley Avenue when a light-colored car approached and the driver fired shots.

The man was hit in his left calf and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition, Estrada said.

The incident was possibly gang-related, police said.

• At 7:10 p.m., two men were shot in Chatham, Estrada said. The men were standing outside in the 8000 block of South Stewart Avenue when someone shot at them from a passing dark-colored car.

A 24-year-old man was hit in his leg and a 23-year-old man was hit in his legs. They were taken to Stroger Hospital, where they were in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

The incident was possibly gang-related, police said.

• At 5:48 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Englewood, Estrada said. The man was sitting on the front porch of a home in the 5600 block of South Shields Avenue when a light-colored car drove by and someone inside fired shots.

The man was hit in his leg and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

• At 3:41 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in Washington Park, Estrada said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 5700 block of South Calumet Avenue when he heard gunshots and felt pain.

The man was shot in his chest and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in critical condition, Estrada said.

• At 3 p.m., a 3-year-old boy was shot while playing outside in West Englewood, Estrada said.

• At 2:57 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Washington Park, Estrada said. The man was in the 5600 block of South Prairie Avenue when he was shot in his head. He took himself to Provident Hospital, where he was in critical condition.

• At 2:12 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Brainerd, Estrada said. The man was in the 9500 block of South Loomis Street when he was shot in his torso. he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition.

• At 1:51 p.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, Estrada said. The man was arguing with a man in the 1500 block of South Trumbull Avenue when the other man took out a gun and shot the victim.

The victim was hit in his lower back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in good condition, Estrada said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
