CHICAGO — One man was killed and five others were wounded in shootings across Chicago since Thursday, police said. 

A Thursday night shooting in Humboldt Park leaves a man dead, police said. 

At 5:19 p,m. a 37-year-old man was in a vehicle in the 1100 block of North Springfield Avenue when a car pulled up and fired shots, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. 

The man was hit several times and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Pacheco said. 

The man was a documented gang member, police said. No one is in custody, Pacheco said. 

Earlier that day, a 16-year-old teen was shot as she was walking to school in Humboldt Park Thursday morning, police said. 

At 8:30 a.m., the girl was walking in the 1400 block of North Kildare Avenue when she was shot in the right leg, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The girl was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital where she is listed in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

Most recently, a man was wounded in an Ashburn shooting from Thursday, police said. 

At 7:40 p.m., a 19-year-old man checked himself into Christ Medical Center after being shot in the abdomen, Pacheco said.. The man said he was shot in the 2300 block West 79th Street, Pacheco said. 

At 6:30 p.m., two 17-year-olds were walking in the 3700 block of West Chicago Avenue in Humboldt Park when someone came up to one of them and grabbed of their arms. The man then shot one of the teens when he tried to pull away, Pacheco said. 

One of the teens suffered a graze wound and the second teen was shot in his leg, Pacheco said. The teen who was shot in his leg is believed not to be the target of the shooter, Pacheco said. 

Both teens are listed in good condition at Norwegian-American Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital, Pacheco said. 

At 10:50 a.m., a 43-year-old man was shot in the knee in the 2800 block of West Madison Street in Garfield Park, Pacheco said. The man was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where was listed in good condition, Pacheco said. 

No one is in custody for any of the shootings,
