HUMBOLDT PARK — A 37-year-old man died after being shot in Humboldt Park Thursday evening, police said.

The man was in a vehicle in the 1100 block of North Springfield Avenue at 5:19 p.m. when a car pulled up and someone inside fired shots, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.
