HUMBOLDT PARK— Two teens were wounded in an attempted armed robbery in Humboldt Park Thursday night, police said.

At 6:30 p.m., two 17-year-olds were walking in the 3700 block of West Chicago Avenue when someone come up to one of them and grabbed the arm of one of the teens and shot him when he tried to pull away, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

One of the teens suffered a graze wound and the second teen was shot in his leg, Pacheco said. The teen who was shot in his leg is believed not to be the target of the shooter, Pacheco said.

The teens are listed in good condition at Norwegian-American Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Pacheco said.
