CHICAGO — An 18-year-old woman was shot in Little Village Thursday, police said.

Around 6:10 p.m., the woman was shot by someone in a blue Pontiac as she walked in the 2200 block of South Sawyer Avenue, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
