LINCOLN PARK — The city's first Warby Parker stand-alone eyewear shop is set to open in Lincoln Park Saturday, equipped with a portrait studio.

Not only will customers be able to shop for the latest styles from the trendy New York-based shop, they'll also be able to have professional portraits taken free of charge.

The new shop, 837 W. Armitage Ave., is one of just two concept shops in the country opened by Warby Parker.

The Warby Parker Frame Studio's photo studio will be manned by different Chicago photographers seven days a week.

Guests looking to schedule a shoot can do so online at www.warbyparker.com.

The portrait studio will offer a variety of frames for guests to try on for the shoot.

The concept shop, located in the former home of American Apparel, is a temporary location for Warby Parker. The company plans to migrate to a permanent storefront just down the block at 851 W. Armitage Ave. in March.
