LINCOLN PARK — Rachel Zoe's blow-dry and styling salon is opening its first Chicago location on Armitage Avenue in Lincoln Park.

DreamDry was founded by Zoe and her business partner Robin Moraetes in New York in 2013.

The salon will open in the former 1154 Lill Studio space, 904 W. Armitage Ave., in December.

The company described the soon-to-open 1,600-square-foot space as a "blow-dry mecca."

“As we continue to expand the boundaries of the DreamDry brand, I couldn’t be more excited to bring the chic women of Chicago the ultimate destination for everyday glamour,” Zoe said in a statement announcing the opening.

The company is known to offer client's "dream" hair in 40 minutes or less.

There are currently two locations in New York.

“Chicago is the ideal city for DreamDry’s next location,” said Robin Moraetes, CEO and co-founder of the brand. “The Windy City woman has a clear point of view on beauty, and we’re thrilled to offer her an unparalleled level of service.”
