RIVER NORTH — Three former Michael Anthony Salon and Spa locations in Chicago will be made over into Canadian salon brand Civello franchises, with shops set to open in Streeterville, Lakeview and Lincoln Park this month.
Toronto-based Civello will open its first Chicago salons on Oct. 22 at 1001 W. North Ave., 1637 W. Belmont Ave. and 621-623 N. State St.
Founder Ray Civello opened his first namesake salon in 1989. He created his own approach to haircuts and coloring that he calls "vision crafting" — "a revolutionary, all-encompassing approach that customizes cut and color to enhance the individual physical qualities and personality of each person."
All three locations will offer Aveda products and services.
