BRIDGEPORT — Organist Geoff Pautsch from St. Mary of Perpetual Help will lend his musical talents to St. Barbara for a special performance.

The performance begins about 6 p.m. Saturday, shortly after the 5 p.m. Mass finishes at the church, 2859 S. Throop St.

It's part of St. Barbara's efforts to buy a new digital organ to replace the church's old pipe organ.

Organizers say a "free will" offering will take place during the event, where concertgoers are asked to pitch in to help raise money. A small reception follows the concert.
