CHICAGO — Three teenagers were shot, one fatally, in a Little Village shooting Friday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., the victims, 15, 16 and 18, were walking in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw Avenue when two people approached them and opened fire, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

The 16-year-old boy, identified as Ramon Breceda, of the 2700 block of West 23rd Street, was shot in his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:17 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

The 15-year-old boy was shot in his buttocks, while the 18-year-old was shot in his arm. Both teens were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where they are in stable condition, Estrada said.

All of the victims are documented gang members, police said.
