Rustle + Roux Opens Monday with Lunch Counter from Celeb Chef Fabio Viviani

DOWNTOWN — A new breakfast and lunch option in the Franklin Center includes an Italian food station designed by "Top Chef: New York" contestant and "fan favorite" Fabio Viviani.

The Italian-born restaurateur lent his name and some recipes to the Mercato counter inside Rustle + Roux, a new food court that opened Monday on the second floor of the Franklin Center at 227 W. Monroe St.

The menu at Mercato includes Napoli-style pizzas, pastas and salads. Other dining stations in Rustle + Roux are Mercadito Taqueria taco bar, Grill'd sandwich station, So Deli, another sandwich option with a carvery and a salad bar called "Create."

The food court is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays, with coffee and to-go menu items available until 3 p.m. 

Prices range from $2.99 for half soups and small salads up to $7.99 for fresh fish at the grill station. Individual pizzas cost $6.79 apiece.
