LAKEVIEW — A jewelry and clothing boutique storefront near the Belmont "L" stop will soon be swapped out for another boutique.
Gift on Belmont, 925 W. Belmont Ave., will be closing by the end of the year and will be replaced by Never Mind in January, according to Jina Park, owner of Never Mind.
Gift on Belmont had been open for about a year, according to an employee.
Park had only been in her current location, 3240 N. Clark St., for about seven months. Before that, the clothing boutique was at 953 W. Belmont Ave. for 15 years before a tanning bed fire shut down the businesses at Belmont and Sheffield.
She'd been looking for a spot near her old home, she said.
"We'd been there for a very long time," Park said. "We'd like to go back to the main strip."
Never Mind will stay open on Clark until the end of the year and will reopen in late January at the new location, Park said. All items are 30 percent off.
