West Loop restaurants

The fine dining West Loop restaurants revealed their impressive rankings on social media. 

The fast-casual chain will give the first 100 people in line a free meal Friday. 

The Spanish wine and coffee bar tucked beneath the "L" tracks will close for good later this month. 

The dinner menu from the team behind Giant includes a cheddar, caramel and caviar shooter.  

At the new Heisler Hospitality restaurant, Chef Jared Wentworth will put his spin on Maxwell classics. 

Beatrix's market will offer grab-and-go selections, including a salad, soup and a hot food bar. 

The two restaurants join Au Cheval, Grange Hall Burger Bar and Umami Burger in the neighborhood.

Demolition at the Hoxton Hotel site on Lake Street began this month. 

Gibsons' new steakhouse and bar will be named in honor of the restaurant's chef.
