A separate proposal to build a Starbucks drive-thru in Six Corners saw its approval delayed until July.

The four-floor, 43,000-square-foot will replace Crate & Barrel. 

The Portage Park Neighborhood Association will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Filament Theatre.

Once reopened, the new "Starbucks Reserve Bar" will have more seating and bathrooms.

The former rib joint closed in 2005 and has since sat vacant along the busy commuter route.

The dessert crawl features two routes of 11 business and will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday.

The new store, which opened Wednesday, has 26 workers and a training center.
