Trick-Or-Treat Like An Adult This Weekend At Andersonville's Dessert Crawl

ANDERSONVILLE — Trick or treating doesn't just have to be for kids this weekend as more than 20 Andersonville businesses will be offering sweets as part of its annual dessert crawl.

The Andersonville Dessert Crawl, which features two routes of 11 businesses, will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at local businesses in the neighborhood. The event is sponsored by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, which fosters sustainable community development in the neighborhood, according to a news release for the event.

The Candy Corn route features stops at Andies Restaurant, First Slice Pie Cafe, George's Ice Cream and Sweets, Jerry's, JB's Deli, Koval Distillery at Andersonville Antiques, La Colombe, Middle East Bakery and Grocery, Miscercordia's Hearts and Flour Bakery Shop at Murray and White, Vincent and the Wooden Spoon.

The Caramel Apple route features stops at Defloured Bakery, Fireside Restaurant, Goddess and Grocer, Kopi Cafe, Koval Distillery at Painted Light Photography and Framing, M Henry, My Private Chef, Inc. at In Fine Spirits, Pastoral Artisan Cheese, Bread and Wine, Pork Shoppe, Starbucks and TrueNorth Cafe.

Ticket pickup for the event will be held at at Great Lakes Clinical Trials, 5149 N. Ashland Ave.

Tickets for the event are $25 in advance or $30 this weekend. Tickets can be purchased here. One dollar from each ticket sale will benefit Care for Real, Edgewater's food pantry.
