CHICAGO — Police are looking for a man who stole cellphones from women walking alone in Lakeview and Logan Square.
In each incident the man forcibly took a phone from a woman and fled the scene in a gold Honda Odyssey minivan with the Illinois license plate H855843, according to police. There were at least two others inside the van.
The incidents occurred at 2:40 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of North Ashland Avenue and at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of North Campbell Avenue, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man, 16-23 years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, 140 to 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, police said. The man was wearing a gray hoodie with baggy blue jeans.
