Logan Square Shooting Wounds 3 People, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Logan Square left three people wounded late Friday, police said.

At 11:20 p.m., the people were walking in the 3800 block of West Diversey when two men walked up to them from behind and shot at them, police said.

An 18-year-old man was hit in his shoulder and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. A 19-year-old man was hit in his neck and was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital. A 21-year-old man was hit in his left arm and was also taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital.

Conditions for the men were not available, but they were listed as "stable," police said.

The 18-year-old was a documented gang member, police said.

No one was in custody.
