CHICAGO — Shootings left 15 people hurt, two critically, across the city between Saturday morning and Sunday morning, police said.

A 26-year-old man was hurt during a shootout that led police to fire their guns a block away from Wrigley Field early Sunday morning, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

Two shootings left a woman and two men wounded in Humboldt Park between Saturday and Sunday, Estrada said.

A 38-year-old man was in critical condition, Estrada said, after being shot in his neck during an argument in Logan Square early Sunday morning.

A 5-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in his hand while playing with a loaded gun in his Washington Park home, Estrada said.

A man was shot in his thigh just after dawn in Pilsen Sunday, Estrada said.

• Just after 10 a.m. Sunday, a 26-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot in his head in the 7200 block of South May Street in Englewood, according to Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.

• Around 3:40 a.m. Sunday, a 27-year-old man walked into the University of Chicago Medical Center with a graze wound in his head, Estrada said.

He had been shot in the 4700 block of South Ashland Avenue in Back of the Yards, Estrada said. His condition later "stabilized," though police did not say which condition he was in.

• About 25 minutes earlier and only a few blocks away, a 27-year-old man was riding in the passenger seat of a car in the 1400 block of West 49th Street when shots rang out and he realized he'd been shot in the back of his head, Estrada said.

The car's driver took the man to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition was "stable," Estrada said. Police couldn't say the extent of his injuries.

• Around 2:50 a.m., a 34-year-old man was standing with a group in the 3100 block of West 53rd Street in Gage Park when a car rolled up and someone inside started talking to the group, Estrada said.

The conversation turned hostile, and someone exited the car and fired into the group, Estrada said.

The 34-year-old man was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, Estrada said, where he was listed in good condition after being shot in his hand.

• Less than a half hour earlier, a 59-year-old man was standing in the 300 block of West 91st Street in Roseland when he heard gunshots and felt pain in his leg, Estrada said.

The man was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, Estrada said. He was listed in good condition.

• A few minutes after midnight Sunday morning, a 33-year-old man was inside a business in the 500 block of South Cicero Avenue in South Austin when he heard gunshots and felt pain, Estrada said.

The man was brought to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized after he was treated for a gunshot wound in his lower left leg, Estrada said.

• About an hour earlier, a 15-year-old boy was standing on the sidewalk in the 5200 block of South Wabash Avenue in Washington Park when he heard gunshots and felt pain, Estrada said.

The boy was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where he was listed in good condition with a graze wound in his left ear, Estrada said.

• Around 3:25 p.m. Saturday, a 32-year-old man was standing in the 2000 block of West 48th Street in Back of the Yards when someone got out of a nearby car and shot at him, Estrada said.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound in his neck, Estrada said.
