CHICAGO — A man died and 12 other people were hurt following shootings around the city between Saturday morning and Sunday morning, police said.

Police found a 25-year-old man shot to death inside a car in East Garfield Park early Saturday, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

• Around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, a 22-year-old man was standing at a gas station in the 7800 block of South State Street in Chatham when someone shot at him from a green van, Estrada said.

The man was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition stabilized after he was treated for a gunshot wound in his right foot, Estrada said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

• Late Saturday night, Estrada said, a man and a woman were shot within a half-hour of each other in two Little Village shootings.

• Around 8:30 p.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in his left thigh in the 4800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue in Bronzeville, Estrada said.

The man was brought to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition, Estrada said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.

• About a half-hour earlier, a 17-year-old was shot in his arm and his leg in Englewood, police said.

The teen was standing in the 5700 block of South Union Avenue when an SUV pulled up, someone got out and fired shots before fleeing, Estrada said.

The teen was brought to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was "stable," Estrada said.

• Around 7 p.m., a 27-year-old man was standing in the 3300 block of West 79th Street in Ashburn when he heard gunshots and felt pain in his chest, Estrada said.

The man was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, Estrada said.

The man was brought to University of Chicago Medical Center, Estrada said, where his condition stabilized.

• Two men were shot around 6:45 a.m. Saturday morning in the 7800 block of South Rhodes Avenue in Chatham, police said.

A 36-year-old man walked into MetroSouth Medical Center in suburban Blue Island with a gunshot wound in his right leg, Estrada said. Later, a 38-year-old man walked into University of Chicago Medical Center with a gunshot wound in his left leg.

Both men were treated and released from their respective hospitals, Estrada said.

Police said they couldn't provide any other information on the shooting, as the men were being uncooperative.
