LITTLE VILLAGE — Two people were shot within 30 minutes of each other in Little Village late Saturday night, police said.

First, at 11:05 p.m., a 28-year-old man was standing at a gas station in the 2800 block of South Pulaski Road when someone shot at him from a white SUV, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

Around 11:30 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was walking alongside a man on the sidewalk in the 2900 block of West 25th Street when someone fired shots from a white pickup truck, Estrada said.

The man and the woman were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions "stabilized, "Estrada said. The man had been shot in his right wrist, and the woman was shot in her left foot.

Police could not say the extent of their injuries.

No one is in custody for either shooting, Estrada said.
