CHICAGO — Two people were shot to death and another two were hurt in shootings between Wednesday morning and Thursday morning, police said.

A 22-year-old man was gunned down in Greater Grand Crossing early Wednesday evening, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Later, a teenager was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in Washington Heights, Sedevic said.

Most recently, around 12:20 a.m. Thursday, police said a 32-year-old man was arguing with his child's mother at her home in the 1500 block of South Avers Avenue in North Lawndale. When the man left, the woman's boyfriend emerged from the house and shot at him, Sedevic said.

The 32-year-old was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Sedevic said, where his condition stabilized after he was shot in the leg.
