GREATER GRAND CROSSING — A 22-year-old man was shot to death Wednesday evening in Grand Crossing, police said.
Around 5:20 p.m., the man was walking in the 7700 block of South Indiana Avenue when someone walked up and shot him multiple times in the chest, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene, Sedevic said.
Police said the man was a documented gang member.
No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
