CHICAGO — Two men died and 12 other people were wounded in gun violence since Saturday morning, police said.

Two men fired into a crowd outside a house party in Austin Sunday morning, killing a man and wounding four others, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Police found the body of a man Sunday morning who'd been shot to death, Sedevic said.

The boy was standing on the corner of 4300 South Wells Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, Sedevic said.

The boy was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital, Sedevic said, where he's now in fair condition with a gunshot wound in his groin.

The boy is being uncooperative with police, Sedevic said.

• At about 3:15 a.m., two men were shot on the lakefront in Oakland, police said.

The men, 31 and 21, were sitting by the lake near 43rd Street when two men walked up and opened fire, Sedevic said.

The 31-year-old was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he's in critical condition after being shot four times in his stomach and once in his arm, Sedevic said.

The 21-year-old is in critical condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound in his abdomen, Sedevic said.

• Around 9:55 p.m. Saturday night, a 25-year-old woman was shot in her neck in South Austin, police said.

The woman was driving on the 5200 block of West Adams Street when she heard gunshots and felt pain, Sedevic said.

She's now at Mount Sinai hospital, Sedevic said, where she's in critical condition.

• At about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, a 20-year-old man was shot in South Shore, police said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he's in serious but stable condition after being shot in his shoulder and his chest on the 7700 block of South Chappel Avenue, according to Nicole Trainor, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Police said the man is a documented gang member and a convicted felon.

• At about 6:40 p.m. Saturday evening, a 28-year-old man was shot in his leg in Chatham, police said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member and a convicted felon.

• Around 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon, an 18-year-old man was walking on the 400 block of North Lawler Avenue in Austin when he heard gunshots and felt pain in his hand, Trainor said.
