Man Found Shot to Death in West Pullman, Police Say

WEST PULLMAN — Authorities found a 20-year-old man dead in Pullman Sunday morning, police said.

At about 5 a.m., police found the man unresponsive in an alley on the 11700 block of South LaSalle Avenue, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The mas was pronounced dead at the scene, Sedevic said, with multiple gunshot wounds in his back.

Police said the man was a documented gang member and a convicted felon.

No information was immediately available on the circumstances behind the shooting.
