CHICAGO — The weather gods are smiling upon us this week and we're into it. Get outside.

1. Dance in the Park: Los Cojolites, a band that focuses on traditional Mexican sones, will perform at the last Downtown Sound concert of the season (say it ain't so!). David Wax and Suz Slezak open with their Mexican folk/indie rock jams. Starts at 6:30 p.m. at Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, 205 E. Randolph St. Free.

2. “Big Hero 6”: Disney’s “Big Hero 6” will be shown at dusk in Crescent Park tonight. Those attending the outdoor screening are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and bug spray. Movie starts around 8 p.m. at Crescent Park, 2200 W. 108th Place. Free.

3. Get Theatrical With The Fam: Part of the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce’s “Family Nights” schedule, local cuties from Li’l Buds Theatre Company will be on hand teaching families all about the performing arts scene in Edgewater and how they can get involved. As always, the first 75 guests get free frozen custard from Edgewater’s own Lickity Split, so don’t be late! Broadway Armory Parking Lot, 5917 North Broadway, 6:30 p.m., Free.

4. Produce Shopping Serenaded By The ‘L’: Now in its third year, the Low-Line Market — located under the Southport Brown Line ‘L’ station — has an ever-growing number of vendors, and incoming tapas/deli The Spanish Square will be on site today to offer samples ahead of its grand opening. The Lakeview Chamber of Commerce organizes the event and offers a weekly newsletter to keep shoppers in the know about new vendors. 3411 N. Southport Ave., 3-8 p.m. Thursdays through Sept. 3, 3-7 p.m. through Oct. 8.

5. A Concert in the Grass: If you haven't checked out the Columbus Park Refectory in Austin, tonight would be the perfect night to do it. The Grant Park Chorus will be performing a cappella in the gorgeous park, which was designed by Jens Jensen.
