CHICAGO— A man and woman were uninjured during an armed robbery in Lakeview Saturday morning, police said.
At 2:05 a.m., a man and woman, both 25 years old, were walking in the 3400 block of North Sheffield Avenue when they were approached by two unknown armed men, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago police spokesman.
The two men who were armed with a handgun, took the woman's purse before fleeing, Estrada said.
No physical description of the two armed men was available Saturday morning.
