BOYSTOWN — The Center on Halsted's LGBT film series will continue this weekend with a screening of "Torch Song Trilogy."
The 1988 movie starring Matthew Broderick and Anne Bancroft follows a Jewish drag queen living in Brooklyn in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It's based on Harvey Fierstein plays by the same name.
The movie runs from 1-3:30 p.m. at Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St. A discussion will follow.
