LAKEVIEW — Backstreet's back, this time as a horror-movie musical at the Public House Theatre, 3914 N. Clark St.

Through Nov. 1, the Lakeview theater will put on Friday and Saturday performances of "A Nightmare on Backstreet: A Boy Band Musical Parody."

The show is a satirical take on Wes Craven's “A Nightmare on Elm Street" — set to Backstreet Boys music and choreography. It follows Teddy Crooner (think: Freddy Krueger) as he murders teens in their sleep.

The first show is this Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $15.
