LAKEVIEW — I scream. You scream. We all scream for boozy beverages.
The Wisconsin-based Purple Door Ice Cream is throwing an ice cream social at Southport Grocery, 3552 N. Southport Ave., this Thursday.
The party runs from 4-9 p.m. and includes traditional ice cream scoops with sprinkles ($4-$5) and adult frozen beverages ($5-$9). Southport Grocery's full menu will be available until 8:30 p.m.
Purple Door opened in Milwaukee in 2011. The store sells artisan scoops in flavors such as whiskey, salted caramel, balsamic strawberry and blueberry buttermilk.
