CHICAGO — A woman robbed a Lakeview bank Wednesday afternoon, the second time she has hit the bank this year, the FBI said.
The woman robbed the TCF Bank at 3531 N. Broadway at 3:50 Wednesday afternoon, the FBI said. The agency suspects the same woman of robbing the bank, which is located inside a Jewel-Osco, on May 21.
Police said the woman handed a teller a note and was given $500 before she ran away. No weapons were shown or implied, and no one was injured, police said.
The FBI described the woman as black, approximately 35 years old, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-7.
She is also suspected of robbing the TCF Bank at 5343 N. Broadway on April 26.
