WRIGLEYVILLE — The new, country-themed restaurant Old Crow Smokehouse opened its doors Saturday on Clark Street in Wrigleyville.

Old Crow, 3506 N. Clark St., serves barbecued brisket, baby back pork ribs and pulled pork.

It's owned by the Wrigleyville stalwarts behind John Barleycorn, 3524 N. Clark St., and Moe's Cantina, 3518 N. Clark St.

Tony Scruggs, a former contestant on the reality show "MasterChef," is in charge of the cooking at the new restaurant.

And for fans of Chen's, the Chinese restaurant that used to be in the Old Crow space is still taking delivery orders.

Old Crow will host a live music event Wednesday complementing the restaurant's country theme. StateLine Country Band, from the northwest suburbs, will play at the smokehouse during the intermission and after the TV broadcast of the Country Music Awards.

The show starts at 7 p.m.
