Two armed men were fatally shot by police in Brooklyn in separate incidents overnight, the NYPD said.

The tourist was walking on East 46th Street with friends Sunday when he was attacked, police said. 

Shamel Jones, 19, was charged after allegedly beating his girlfriend and wielding a 12-inch knife.

Ariel Galarza, who was emotionally disturbed, threatened the sergeant with a glass bottle, police said.

Davonte Pressley was shot three times in the torso after lunging at police with a knife, officials said.

His accomplice hit a bodega worker in the head with a cane and snatched $100, police said.

The suspect was pacing around the subway car and mouthing off before he was confronted, the NYPD says.

Thomas Smith, 53, was charged with menacing, police said.

Police released photos and video of the man in a clown costume wanted for chasing a teen with a knife.

The incident took place two days before a similar incident on a 6 train on the Upper East Side.

There have been 14 percent more robberies this year than during the same time last year.

The man told the driver to follow him to his grandmother's apartment when he couldn't pay, police said.

Police said a 13-year-old girl was followed into her Claremont Village apartment and attacked Thursday. 

Assemblyman Dan Quart wants to decriminalize folding knives by redefining the law.

Robberies at Area Play, Pink Olive and Tiny Brooklyn occurred between April 8 and May 3, police said.
