FDNY:

A fire in an underground MTA vault disrupted L train service about eight hours Thursday, officials said.

L train service saw suspensions after a man was struck by a train, officials said.

The derailment happened at Longwood and Garrison Avenues about 10:05 a.m., the FDNY said.

The girl was lost control while skateboarding and went into traffic on Amsterdam Avenue Tuesday evening.

A piece of the facade from a 106-year-old building fell onto the sidewalk, the Fire Department said. 

Suspects Garivaldi Castillo and Julio Salcedo were both back in court on Tuesday.

The fire broke out inside 1350 Fifth Ave. about 7 p.m., officials said.

A trains were temporarily suspended between Rockaway and Ozone-Park Lefferts boulevard Monday morning.

A train with mechanical problems at Fifth Avenue disrupted Monday morning service, the MTA said.

The fire happened due to an "electrical malfunction on an extension chord," officials said.

Julio Salcedo fled the blast that killed Chief MIchael Fahy, but was grabbed in New Jersey hours later.

The funeral is planned to take place at Annunciation-Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Yonkers.

Six inmates, four with serious injuries, were transported to to Lutheran Medical Center.

Neil Thompson, 38, was fatally shot in a Tompkins Avenue deli near Hart Street, relatives said.

The suspect was spotted on video fleeing building moments before fatal blast killed Chief Michael Fahy.
