City Hall has revoked just 17 liquor licenses from "restaurants" since mid-2015.
Neighbors are trying to get the Bottled Blonde's liquor license pulled, saying it's a club.
River North's Bottled Blonde has been in the city's crosshairs long before posting its dress code.
Critics have dubbed the detailed dress code "racist" on Facebook and Yelp.
Someone was punched in the face, someone else showed a gun, and no charges were filed.
The Arizona-based pizzeria will open here in spite of brushback from some neighbors.
"If he has an objection against pretty waitresses he shouldn't live in River North," the landlord said.
The Arizona restaurant will open this summer at the former SushiSamba Rio space, 504 N. Wells.
