Located at 1753 N. Milwaukee Ave., the store has been closed since March 21, 2016. 

The store's grand reopening is set for April 13, including a free-produce-for-a-year sweepstakes.

Manager trainees earn $56,190 per year , Aldi said.

Manager trainees can earn $54,900 to $56,190 per year, a spokeswoman said.

Kitsune leads the way, likely by the end of January. Other openings are less certain.

"I've really enjoyed having a passion project for no reason but my own enjoyment," said designer.

A new eco-friendly Aldi will reopen in the footprint of the existing store.

Set to reopen in a year, the supermarket will be at the base of a 95-unit apartment building.

"Thank god he didn't hurt anyone," said a worker near the closed-off checkout lane.

Initially a 128-unit building, the project will now have 95 units and won't offer affordable housing.

Customers were given coupons to use at other Aldis at 7800 South Chicago Ave. and 2333 E. 95th St.

The estimated $37 million redevelopment of Aldi would include a respite area connecting to The 606.

Though developers decreased the size of the building, a neighborhood group said it's still too big.
