A meeting set for Tuesday will detail changes planned near Northwest Highway and Foster Avenue.

The results of the first round of voting in the 45th Ward show a ward neatly divided in half.

The debates are set for Monday on CLTV and March 30 on WTTW's Chicago Tonight.

The 45th Ward alderman will be chosen in a runoff between incumbent Arena and Garrido on April 7.

Complaints rose 20 percent in January, according to data released by a city commission. 

City funds would be used to save a historic theater and renovate a building built in the 1960s.

Both candidates praised Mayor Rahm Emanuel's decision to remove a Forest Glen red-light camera.

The debate will take place at 7:30 p.m. March 17 at the Copernicus Center.

Debate over the soccer field is "pitting neighbor against neighbor," Principal Dan Kramer said.

A meeting to discuss the plan is set for 6:30 p.m. March 11 at Las Tablas, 4920 W. Irving Park Road.

Ald. John Arena said he declined to retire Michelle Baert's campaign debt, and Baert endorsed Garrido.
