Reporter/Producer @Paul_Biasco Contact

Paul Biasco is a reporter/producer covering Logan Square and Humboldt Park for DNAinfo Chicago.

Paul previously covered Lincoln Park and Old Town for DNAinfo Chicago. Before joining the team, Paul reported on breaking news and crime in the suburbs for two years working the night shift at the Daily Herald.

Paul reported on the infamous Snowmageddon blizzard extensively for two straight days in 2011, producing award-winning coverage. He also covered the killing of Osama bin Laden, the 2012 NATO Summit in Chicago, the Herman Cain sex scandal and has appeared on WBBM 780 numerous times to discuss his stories.

Paul was born in Chicago, grew up in Glenview and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010.

He lives in Logan Square and spends most of his free time riding his bike along the lakefront, watching the Blackhawks and talking to cabbies where he gets most of his good story ideas.

Fun Fact: During high school, Paul played in the longest hockey game in Illinois history -- a seven-overtime Loyola Maroon victory over Hinsdale Central in 2003.
