Man Critically Injured in Humboldt Park Shooting

HUMBOLDT PARK — A 28-year-old man was shot Wednesday morning in Humboldt Park, according to police.

The shooting occurred at 10:40 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Division Street, police said.

The victim was shot in the abdomen and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

Police said the shooting appeared to be gang related.

No one was in custody as of Wednesday afternoon and further details were not immediately available.
