Lisa White is a News Editor at DNAinfo Chicago.

Lisa previously worked at Time Out Chicago as the Editor and at Chicagoist as Acting Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor. Before that she worked as a freelance writer, which led to such adventures as co-writing a hot dog column (no ketchup, of course) to interviewing a slew of musicians, fulfilling her teenage rock journalist fantasy.

She moved to the city to attend Columbia College Chicago, where she studied arts, entertainment and media management as well as journalism. She briefly moved to New York City, but her heart belongs in Chicago. She lives in Logan Square with her partner Justin.

Fun Fact: Lisa sung "Space Oddity" onstage at Radio City Music Hall with some of her favorite musicians at a David Bowie memorial concert. She also has a Bowie tattoo. She has her Mom to thank for this excellent taste in music and sense of adventure.
