Reporter/Producer @howardaludwig Contact

Howard Ludwig is a neighborhood reporter at DNAinfo Chicago, covering Beverly, Mount Greenwood and Morgan Park.

Prior to joining DNAinfo, Howard wrote a weekly parenting column based on his experience as a stay-at-home dad. The syndicated column appeared in five suburban newspapers including the SouthtownStar and The Daily Journal in Kankakee. The column was based on Howard's daily interactions with his two sons. Howard "Bubba" Ludwig was born on June 14, 2006. Peter Ludwig was born on November 24, 2007.

Howard worked as a business reporter and editor prior to the arrival of his two children. He's lived in Morgan Park since 2007.

Fun fact: Howard still owns his first car - a 1967 Chevy II Nova. He and his father (also named Howard) restored the car together, prepping the hot rod for the drag strip. Howard's best time in the quarter mile is a 10.57 second pass.
